Observation. There is no log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events. A log of minor incidents is required as part of record keeping requirements outlined in legislation. Ensure all minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events are noted in a minor incident log. A file for one child was not available at the time of the inspection. Current records identifying personal information is required to ensure the health and safety of children. Ensure current records are available on site for every child receiving care.

Observation. There is no record of fire drills. Practicing the fire drill system each month is required to ensure the Licensee and children are prepared to respond in the case of a fire emergency. Ensure the drill is practiced on a monthly basis, and keep a record of all fire drills.
