The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. All construction appears to have resulted in solid stable structures with rounded edges and smoothed surfaces. The infant outside play space hut has a gap that measures approximately 6 inches and is located underneath the bench. Where bushes have died off, there is a large space where there is no fencing to separate the infant and toddler outside play spaces.

Observation. Licensing Officer observed the following: * loose ceiling panels in laundry room * missing ceiling panel in toddlers' nap cot storage room Licensing recommends that the ceiling panels be returned into place. Fridge temperature = 3.5'C, good! Soap / water spray bottles are available for cleaning surfaces. A product, Unitab, is used for disinfecting surfaces. Please confirm that it is being applied as per the manufacturer's directions. Licensing Officer was informed that over the summer months there was a problem with the irrigation system and that it resulted in trees and bushes having died off. Bushes with pointed branch ends were observed in close proximity to children's sand play area. Due to the height, proximity and condition of the bushes as well as the age of these young toddlers, a possible injury could occur.
