    Observation. Licensing observed that no bleach water solution was available in the main activity and kitchen area. Licensee informed LO that she uses the bottle in the washroom, to keep it inaccessible to children on a higher shelf. This can result in possible cross contamination from washroom to food surfaces and activity area. Licensing observed two bottles of shampoo products on the floor of the washroom. The bottles were removed by the Licensee immediately (This item is corrected during the inspection).

    Observation. LO observed 5 children in care of the Licensee/ transitioning from indoor to outdoor play activities. Licensing noted that containers with materials and toys were stacked together on a high shelves, which made the activities inaccessible to children. Licensing discussed with the Licensee the importance of children being provided with activity choices. The facility has materials, however they were not accessible to children. The Licensee had submitted a written plan into Licensing that outlined a variety of daily activities, such as: sensory play, water table, sand table, water painting, gardening, bubbles, sport balls, hula hoops. However, no activities were available to children at the time of the inspection. Licensing discussed the importance of a program of activities being designed and implemented daily. Issue remains outstanding.

    Observation. LOs observed 4 children present and engaged together in one activity that was set up on the floor in a room: one train track set of no more than 20 pieces with 4 car trains. Licensing noted that containers with materials and toys were stacked together on a high shelves, which made the activities inaccessible to children. Licensing discussed with the Licensee the importance of children being provided with activity choices. The facility has materials, however they were not accessible to children. With respect to the outdoor play activities, the Licensee stated that she was working on a plan that included the outdoor space being opened for gardening and play, as well as neighbourhood walks. However, it was not observed at the time of the inspection. Licensing discussed that a comprehensive plan demonstration compliance with Schedule G must be submitted into Licensing for review. Issue remains outstanding.

    Observation. At today`s inspection, it was revealed that the original child care spaces that allowed for a capacity of 6 was not being used. LO referred to the 2015 Initial Inspection and floor plan to confirm the usable space proposed and measured.
