The Manager commented that a note could be made in the logbook referring to the accident and its form being located in a child's file. Licensing Officer commented on minor injuries that were responded to by the Educators - for example, where a band-aid was placed, an ice pack was used - any injury where first aid is provided and yet the child was not seen by a physician or nurse practitioner. A child attends a specialized program yet it is not known why. The Manager committed to learning more about this. A child's record identifies that they have a peanut allergy - and that an inhaler is prescribed. It is important to learn if the child requires an epi-pen and why an inhaler is prescribed.
