    Observation. Licensing observed two shelving units in the activity room that are not sturdy and a tipping hazard.

    Observation. Licensing observed two kitchen drawers to be containing knives and scissors. These items are hazardous objects and should be made inaccessible to children.

    Observation. The gate noted in the previous inspection has not been repaired and does not self-close and latch. The gate opens to a steep set of stairs and then onto the street.

    Observation. The facility has cribs available for sleeping in an upstairs bedroom. Sometimes when the weather is hot, the children will sleep on mats on the main floor. The mats currently in use are foam with a fabric covering and a sheet on top. This does not allow the sleep mats to be properly cleaned and sanitized.
