  Observation. Licensing observed that one of the deck planks located beside the sandbox was rotten and in need of replacement.

  Hazardous objects and substances are inaccessible to children. [CCLR Sec 17]

  Observation. Licensing observed the following items accessible to children in care: Sharp adult scissors in an unlocked kitchen drawer. The scissors were put out of children's reach at the time of inspection. A large bundle of electrical cords on the floor in the nap room. Access to the electrical cords was blocked by a cabinet at the time of inspection. Bleach, Pine Sol and multiple cleaners in an unlocked kitchen cabinet under the sink. Children pass through the kitchen to enter the green room. In addition, children were observed to wash hands using this sink. Multiple mouse traps on the floor in the green and the blue room.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the closing latch on the gate was bend making it impossible to securely latch the gate.

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. The Manager's CRC is expired since March 2021. The LO sent an email to the Manager with process for renewing CRC through the Health department account. Please send confirmation when the CRC renewal is received and the NIC will be resolved.
