Observation. Licensing observed the following on December 2 2024: *Protective surfacing/fibar appeared to be compacted down throughout the entire outdoor place spaces. Discussion took place regarding a plan for a top up of Fibar. The manager informed that they are aware of this issue as this item has been cited in their previous routine inspection. The manager further explained that a plan for replenishing fibar was in place however is unsure if this had ever occurred. To mitigate any risks of injuries, Licensing recommends raking the fibar evenly around the play structures. During today's visit, the manager informed that they will follow up with the School Principal and inquire about when a Fibar top-up will occur.

Observation. Licensing observed the following: *staff members follow 2 step cleaning/disinfecting method. *liquid hand soap and single use hand towels available at sinks. *electrical cords securely anchored. *mouse droppings observed on top of the emergency supplies being stored in the kitchen.

Observation. Licensing reviewed sampling of children's files. Several children were missing immunization records, care card information, and emergency contact info. Discussed with the manager, Licensing recommends auditing all of the children's files so as to ensure the required information are kept on site.

Observation. Licensing observed inconsistent entries for the monthly fire drill and the annual emergency drill. Discussed with the manager in regards to the implementation of conducting the monthly fire drill and the annual emergency drill. These practices must be documented in their log.

Observation. Licencing observed the following in the Leaders room: 1) Art sink with dirt, rust and mould around the edges and broken / missing sealant between the countertop and the wall. 2) Dirty floor pillow covers.

Observation. During review of children's files, Licensing observed that not all children's files were complete. Licensing recommends a review of all children's files to ensure they all contain the required information as per Section 57 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation.
