- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed the following within the children's main activity area: - a full size ladder leaning against the wall, posing a potential risk of injury if it were to fall; removed by staff during the inspection - a large, retracted heavy projector screen placed on a low window ledge above a children's seating area - a suspended, unsecured string of lights within a partially covered reading area, outside of direct staff sightlines, which could pose a potential risk of entanglement
Corrective action. Ensure that a safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees
