  Observation. Review of children files observed 3 children were missing date of enrollment/ start date on file.

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Baseboard in the washroom of classroom#2 was not intact. This contravention was noted on last inspection report.

  Corrective action. Ensure that facility is clean and in good repair. The Manager said that they are in process to fix the baseboard which keeps falling off the wall.

  Observation. Review of 18 children files observed that one child was missing doctor's name and phone number on file.

  Corrective action. Ensure that all children files are complete.

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)

  Observation. Review of 5 staff files observed that all staff files were missing verification of ECE certificates.

  Corrective action. Corrected during inspection.

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Baseboard was not intact to the wall in the washroom of classroom #2.

  Corrective action. Please ensure that facility is clean and in good repair when children are in attendance.

  Observation. There was a tall black shelf that was not secured in the classroom #1.

  Corrective action. Please ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided to all children in care.
