  Observation. Licensing observed a bleach bottle stored on the bottom level of a cart accessible to children.

• POLICIES AND PROCEDURES / Community Care Facility RecordsNon-critical

  Current policies and procedures that are intended to guide employees in the care and supervision of children are not kept. [CCLR Sec.56 (1)(d)] Topics of such policies should include but not be limited to: meaningful supervision of children both inside and outside the facility; meaningful interactions with children both inside and outside the facility; meal times; bottle-feeding; nap time practices; toileting/diapering.   ; Current policies and procedures respecting food and drink to be given to children are not kept. [CCLR Sec.56 (1)(e)] ; An Active Play Policy is not developed, maintained, and shared with families.   Observation. Licensing reviewed the policies and procedures and observed the following policies are missing: - Care and Supervision - Nutrition - Repayment - Active play and screen time

• POLICIES AND PROCEDURES / Emergency Training and EquipmentNon-critical

  There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed emergency food supplies have expired.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING / Care PlansNon-critical

  The licensee does not keep a current care plan for each child requiring extra support. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)]

  Observation. Licensing observed: - One child has a care plan indicating the requirement for an EpiPen; however, there is no information identifying the allergy. Staff advised they are unaware of the child’s allergy. Additionally, the EpiPen on site expired in January 2026. The same child has a completed Request for Administration of Medication form for a separate medication; however, staff stated that this medication is not on site. - Another child has allergy information in their registration records; however, staff are unaware of this allergy. - A third child’s records contain conflicting information regarding allergies between two separate documents.

  There is current log of minor incidents, illnesses and unexpected events, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H. [CCLR Sec. 56 (1)(f)]

  Observation. Licensing observed: - The library space did not have a log of minor incidents. - The gym space did not have a current log of minor incidents.

  A record for each child containing the daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(c)]; A record for each child containing a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(i)]; A record for each child containing the date of enrolment in the facility is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing reviewed a sample of children’s records: - Several records did not include a photo of the child. - Several records did not document the date of enrollment. Licensing observed that daily attendance records are not accurately recorded and some entries are not legible,

  There is evidence of employees' continued compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs. [CCLR Sec 21(1)]

  Observation. Licensing observed one staff did not have evidence that they complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

  The licensee keeps a current record for each child showing the information required. [CCLR Sec. 57]

  Observation. This was originally found out of compliance on the previous Routine Inspection dated May 1, 2025: Children's files were reviewed and the following information is missing emergency contacts (in addition to parents).

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. there are 7 children who require Epi Pens within the two groups. While they are on site, one expired over 6 months ago.

  Observation. Children's files were reviewed and the following information is missing from 2 - start date, emergency contact (in addition to parents).
