Observation. Licensing observed sleeping mats placed next to each other with children's bedding touching, posing a risk of cross contamination.

All indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are suitable for the age and development of the children, safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)]
Observation. Licensing observed there were limited outdoor materials and equipment accessible to children that are suitable for the age and development of children. After a discussion with the manager, a staff brought out a few materials.

Observation. Licensing observed a child in a stroller during outdoor play time. Manager stated the child cannot walk therefore she is in a stroller and the teachers move the stroller around the outdoor play space. Licensing discussed with the Manager to provide materials and activities appropriate for the age and development of all the children in care.
