  Observation. LO observed the following in the Kinderfun playground: • wooden stumps that are deteriorating and beginning to splinter LO observed the following in the Little Explorers playground: • wooden stumps and landscape ties that are deteriorating and beginning to splinter • wooden post that is beginning to deteriorate at the bottom • footbridge with a loose hand railing on one side • wooden climber ladder is missing bolts on one side of the hand railing • a plastic eavestrough attached to the playground fence is cracked and has a sharp edge Items listed are no longer in good repair and pose a safety risk to the children in care.

LO observed that a wooden climber in the Little Explorers outdoor playground is not in good repair: • broken and splintered floorboards were observed on the lower level • splintered floorboards were observed on the upper level Staff have blocked off the climber with caution tape and children are not permitted to use it at this time.

  Observation. LO observed that a care plan for a child with a life threatening allergy was incomplete. The care plan did not indicate where the epi-pen is stored and it's expiry date.
