- STAFFING
A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.
Observation. Licensing reviewed 3 staff files and 1 file contained a valid criminal record clearance letter addressed to another facility.Licesning was informed that site specific criminal record clearance application had been submitted few weeks ago. Staff was not able to locate the application during the inspection.
Corrective action. Please ensure all criminal record checks from another facility are obtained through the sharing program of the Criminal Record Review Program.
