Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 children were not signed out in January 2026. Manager corrected this during inspection.

    Corrective action. Manager said attendance records will be checked to ensure departure times are recorded daily.

This is a repeat contravention.

    Corrective action. The Manager said staff ECE certificates will be validated when they are renewed, and the results will be printed and kept in the staff member's file.

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. Multiple nap mats had holes in them exposing the foam.

    Corrective action. The Manager said that the mats will be temporarily fixed until they will be replaced.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During inspection Licensing observed that one children's chair in the play area had a tear on the surface exposing the foam underneath. Manager corrected this during inspection. This is a repeat contravention from routine inspection # SMIA-CM4V9X- dated 14 December 2022.

    Corrective action. Ensure all equipment and furnishings are in good repair and can be sanitized effectively.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During inspection Licensing observed that one chair used for children's play had a large tear on its seat exposing the foam underneath making it difficult to sanitize effectively. Manager corrected this during inspection.

Manager entered the departure times during inspection. This is a repeat contravention from routine inspection # SMIA-BXMRAK dated 26 January 2021.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During inpection licensing checked today's daily attendance record and observed 18 out of 15 children were signed-in. Manager explained that it was a busy morning which affected the sign-in procedures.Licesning reviewed the past attendance records and they were all upto date.
