  Observation. Licensing observed no monthly fire drill and yearly emergency drill record log in either service type and staff in both classrooms stated that the drills had been completed but had not been recorded anywhere due to logs being misplaced during room rennovation moves.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

• A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees

  Observation. Licensing observed a fire extinguisher in Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) had a service tag that indicated the fire extinguisher had last been serviced in June 2024 and that it was due for service in June 2025.

  Corrective action. Ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed nine child files and observed two files missing record of immunizations and/or immunization status and one file missing record of the child's Medical Services Plan (MSP) number.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed eight staff files and observed one staff file missing a current certificate verification.

  Corrective action. Ensure not to employ a person in a community care facility as an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a valid certificate issued under Division 2 and the Licensee has verified certification.

  Observation. Licensing observed 10 staff records; one staff record had an expired CRC. Licensee Contact indicated they were in the renewal process which appeared to pose challenges and would continue to follow up with the renewal request.

  Corrective action. Ensure for each employee, a valid Criminal Record Check is obtained.
