  Observation. Licensing reviewed 4 of 8 children's files. One was missing Medical Practitioner name and number.

  Corrective action. Ensure for each child a record is kept showing medical practitioner name and number.

  Observation. Licensing observed the LIW corrective action plan not being followed. Licensee stated they had a filtration system installed and have since stopped using bottled water. Licensee to submit specs of filtration system showing it meets requirement of filtering out lead, or retest the drinking water. Once approved the CAP will need to be updated.

  Corrective action. Ensure to maintain the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed attendance records and observed one child not signed in on the day of the inspection and 3 children not signed out on July 26 and 27.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep, for each child, a record showing time of arrival and departure.

  Observation. Licensing observed a 2 ft Little Tikes Climber without 6 ft clearance on two sides. Back side had cement stepping stones within the 6 ft and right side had an art easel and loose boards/tires beside it.

  Observation. Licensing observed 9 children on site during the inspection and 10 children signed in on June 24, 2022, therefore the Licensee was in excess of the maximum group size indicated on their licence. During the Inspection 1 child was picked up bringing the facility into compliance during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure to operate the facility in a manner that promotes the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.

  Observation. Licensing observed a fire drill was not completed in July.

  Corrective action. Ensure that each employee implements a fire drill once each month.
