Observation. Licensing observed a section of the outdoor play space affected by a fallen city tree, which damaged the wooden fence and covered play area. The Manager stated that this occurred during a storm a few months ago, with outdoor play checks documenting it on November 22, 2024. The Manager confirmed that care was not disrupted, and Licensing observed the usable space to be adequate despite the closed-off area. A temporary fence barrier has been set up to block access to the damaged area. Licensing observed an opening in the fence, creating potential access to debris and the offsite area, as well as unstable sections, including one part that had fallen over. The Manager secured the fallen section during the inspection and discussed using cable ties to close the opening. Licensing also spoke with the Manager regarding providing a plan pertaining to the fence repair and debris removal.
