  Observation. Licensing observed the following items during today's visit: *Laundry unit room with an additional washroom not meant for child care use was not lock - accessible by children. The staff informed Licensing that the washroom and sink located in the laundry unit are used as a secondary back up when the child care washroom is unavailable. A conversation was held with the staff to ensure any room was not meant for childcare to be locked and can be unlocked for use in an emergency. *Gate to the kitchen and living room area is not close.

  Heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius. [CCLR Sec.47]

• RECORDS AND REPORTING / Records For Each ChildNon-critical

  A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

• STAFFING / Emergency Training and EquipmentNon-critical

  Fire drills are not practiced at least once each month. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed the monthly fire drill was missed for the month of February 2025 and August 2025. Emergency drill was conducted on February 22, 2025, a conversation was had with the staff in regards to practicing monthly fire drills in the month that an emergency drill is also conducted.
