  Observation. Licensing observed that the classroom labeled “Pink” was staffed by educators holding Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification only. No Infant and Toddler (IT) certification was present, as one staff member is currently in the process of obtaining their IT certification. Licensing discussed with the Licensee the option to apply for an exemption or to arrange appropriate coverage while the staff member completes their IT certification. Licensing noted that previous reports have also identified occasions where only one Infant and Toddler–certified educator was available.

  Daily inspections of the play space for garbage, broken glass, animal feces and other hazardous items have not been done.

  Observation. The Licensee reported that staff perform outdoor safety checks using a checklist; however, documentation of these checks was not recorded.

  Observation. The beds were already set up and blankets etc. were present. There was a row of beds pressed up against each other and the bedding was touching each other.
