  Criminal record checks have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)(a)]

  Observation. LO noted one staff had an expired CRC and the licensee had applied in June 2024 to renew the CRC however has not received the record. The licensee made several attempts to contact CRC department however was unsuccessful. The licensee had proof text message from CRC department as were contacted with regards to this matter. LO advised the licensee that CRC department has implemented a new system and it will be proactive to apply again online.

  Observation. LO noted the latch on the storage room beside the bathroom was broken.

  Observation. LO noted the following: - doors on the two outdoor storage units were not secured. Various items were stored inside,including a lawn mower. - a large plastic barrel,tarp, wooden logs stored ,rubber mats stored behind the storage unit and debris accessible to children

  The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

  Observation. LO noted the safety fence placed around the trampoline to prevent children from getting underneath in some area was damaged
