The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Couch in the activity area is ripped in some areas, reducing the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitizing. The Licensee noted they would place a blanket over the couch to provide a cleanable surface. - Small trampoline in the outdoor play space is no longer in good repair; the fabric around the springs is torn in multiple areas. - Wooden benches in the outdoor sandbox area are showing signs of wear, with the wood deteriorating and breaking along the edges. - Protective covering on the outdoor swing set chains is no longer in good repair. - Metal play trucks have chipped paint and exposed rusted metal.
