A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Some of the emergency supplies were expired. Staff removed the expired food from the emergency supplies.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility.
Observation. Licensing observed 11 children's files and all 11 files were missing a date of enrollment.
Corrective action. Please ensure all files are complete.

Observation. Upon reviewing the care plans for children who require extra support it was noted that three care plans have not been reviewed annually.
Corrective action. Programmer will review the care plans with the parents at their earliest opportunity.

A licensee must ensure that each employee (b) practices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month.
Observation. Upon reviewing the fire drills it was noted that the fire drill for January has not been practiced.
Corrective action. Programmer said that a plan will be made to conduct the fire drill at the earliest opportunity.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During the routine inspection it was noted that on three days some children were signed in but they were not signed out.
Corrective action. Please ensure all attendance records reflect the arrival and departure of the children in care.
