    Observation. During the months of September and October there were regularly four children under 36 months being provided with care at the same time. Only three children under 36 months can be provided with care at any one time. Submit by November 19, 2025, a written plan on how the ratio will be maintained. Children are being supervised by an Early Childhood Educator Assistant for more than 30 minutes at the start of the program several times a week. Children are required to be supervised by an Early Childhood Educator except for the first and last 30 minutes that the program operates. Submit by November 19, 2025, confirmation that the child to employee ratios are being met at all times.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

    Observation. Children had access to a lighter stored in a kitchen drawer. Children having access to the lighter poses a risk of harm or injury to the child or others. Submit by November 14, 2025, confirmation that children no longer have access to hazardous items.

    Observation. The Licensee did not inform Licensing of a change to the transportation plan. Please submit a notification of change to schedule B.

    Observation. An Early Childhood Educator is required to be working with the children, however, on the day of the inspection and each Friday the person working with the children is a "responsible adult".

    Observation. Employee records were reviewed, one employee record did not have the staff member’s immunization status.

    Observation. On March 1, 2023 10 children were signed into the facility. The facility is only approved to provide care to 8 children at a time. The Licensee confirmed how they ensure they are not caring for more than 8 children at a time.

    Observation. A selection of child records were reviewed. Some child registration records did not have the start date recorded. One child's immunization information was inaccurate.

    Observation. The large wooden box is not in good repair. A child's bike was missing the handle bar rubbers exposing children to the raw metal edges.
