  • C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

Observation. Fire drills have not been practiced for the months of February, March and April 2026. A response is required by May 15, 2026 to outline how fire drills will be conducted as required.

  • C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

Observation. Employee files are incomplete. Two files are missing a record of the persons work history, one file is missing evidence the person has complied with the Province's immunization control program. A response is required by May 15, 2026 to confirm all employee files are complete.

  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

Observation. An electrical cord is hanging in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age) program area in a manner that has potential for a child to pull on the cord or have the cord reach around a child's neck. Electrical cords that are not secure pose a risk of injury in children. A response is required by May 15, 2026 to confirm the risk has been mitigated.

  • C9.1 - Are there plans and actions in place to ensure medications are stored and administered properly?Non-critical
