Observation. Information was observed in the minor incident log book regarding one child's repetitive behaviour that requires a care plan. Information for two additional children were observed in the children's records that indicated a care plan is required for each of the children who require extra support. Care plans for the children have not been developed to date. A care plan is to be developed for any child who requires extra support to ensure the health and safety of the child while attending the facility. A response is required by November 12, 2025 to confirm care plans have been developed for any child who requires extra support.

Observation. The cupboard under the sink containing cleaning supplies was unlocked and accessible to the children. Hazardous substances such as cleaning supplies must be kept inaccessible at all times for the health and safety of children in care. A response is required by November 12, 2025 to outline how the risk has been mitigated.

Observation. It was disclosed that the emergency plan has not been practiced by employees in the past year. Every employee must practice implementing the emergency plan at least once per year. Outline the system developed to ensure emergency plans are practiced annually. Confirm when the emergency plan has been practiced by all employees.

Observation. It was disclosed during inspection that the children are not offered outdoor play opportunities daily as required. The minimum requirement for a preschool program 2.5 hours in length is 30 minutes of active outdoor play each day. Outline the system developed to ensure children are offered adequate active outdoor play daily as required.
