Observation. A Radon test has not been completed for this facility. Radon is a naturally occurring colourless, odourless, radioactive gas that can accumulate in buildings and become harmful to human health. According to Health Canada, radon is the number one cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. A long term 91-day test must be completed over the months of November to January and results submitted to Licensing.

Observation. Children's files are incomplete. One file is missing the name and phone number of a medical practitioner and one file is missing the child's medical insurance plan number. Current records for each child must contain all required identifying personal information for the health and safety of the child while in care. A response is required by April 17, 2026 to confirm all children's files are complete. Employee files are not available for review as the manager does not have access to the files from the main administration office. It is the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure facility records are kept in a single location at the facility and can be reviewed by Licensing as required. A response is required by April 17, 2026 to confirm employee files are on site and accessible.
