    Observation. Upon inspection, Licensing observed emergency supplies at the facility are insufficient to implement the emergency plan, as they expired on August 22, 2020.

    Corrective action. Please ensure emergency supplies are sufficient to implement the emergency plan.

    Observation. Upon review of 3 staff files, criminal record check was not site specific for 1 staff. Staff informed Licensing that they have applied for a sharing form through the criminal records review program. Licensing Officer saw evidence of the application in staff file.

    Corrective action. Ensure criminal record checks are obtained prior to start of employment.

  • RECORDS AND REPORTING

    A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

    Observation. On review of the children's attendance records for the 3-5 program Licensing noted 5 children were missing the time of departure on February-05-2021, Manager was able to explain that the children were p/u from outside play. Licensing recommended taking the attendance sheets outdoors to ensure sign in/out was completed.

    Corrective action. Please ensure children's attendance demonstrate the time of arrival and departure.

    Observation. At the inspection Licensing noted that a care plan had not been reviewed yearly, the last review date was July-02-2018.
