  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A flat screen TV was placed on a plastic little tykes table in the circle time area, this presented as an unstable system to support the TV posing risk of injury should it fall.

Corrective action. The manager repositioned the TV to a lower level fireplace hearth and placed nonskid material underneath. Additional step to further secure the TV was discussed.
