  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. Upon inspection there were: - areas of exposed gyprock that the powder would come off on hands when touched - loose faucet and cupboard door accessible to the children

    Corrective action. Please ensure the facility is in good repair

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Upon inspection there was 1 electrical outlet exposed and the employees personal purses/belongings were accessible to the children in care.

    Corrective action. Please ensure a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times.
