A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed personal products accessible in the bathroom cupboard. Discussed ensuring the items are either removed or made inaccessible when children are in care.
Corrective action. Please ensure a safe and healthy environment at all times. Licensee will secure the items today

A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation. Licensing observed the fire extinguisher required annual inspection.
Corrective action. Licensee will connect with the fire department to ensure this is corrected.
13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation. Care plan was not available for a child requiring additional support and must be developed in consultation with the parent or any person requested by the parent. A signed medication will be required to be in place at all times also.
Corrective action. Licensee will connect with the parents to create the Care Plan.
