  • POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

    A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

    Observation. There are not enough emergency supplies for 72 hours. Batteries in the kit show signs of corrosion and several first aid supplies have past their expiry date.

    Corrective action. The manager will ensure that the emergency kit contains enough supplies including food and water for all children for up to 72 hours.

    Observation. Evidence of references being verified for three staff was not available.
