  Observation. Manager name is not posted within the preschool classroom

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry.   Observation. One staff file does not contain documentation supporting that their employment credentials have been certified

  Corrective action. Manager will verfiy all ECE/ECEA certified staff and maintain the documentation in staff files

  Observation. A record of the person's work history was not obtained for one or more employees.

  Observation. During today's inspection 3 staff files were reviewed; One file was noted that a Criminal Record Check letter was not present in the staff file, however a paper with notice of "passed" was present

  Corrective action. The Licensee will ensure all staff receive a clear criminal record check letter prior to working with vulnerable persons

  Observation. During today's inspection 3 staff files were reviewed, it was noted that 1 staff file is missing evidence that references were checked prior to employment

  Corrective action. The licensee will ensure references are obtain and confirmed prior to employment

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

  Observation. Immunization status was not obtained for one or more employees.

  Corrective action. The Licensee will ensure all staff complete the Immunization status form, and maintain on file

  Observation. Audit of 8 children's files revealed one file to be missing child DOB
