Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 9, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective plan included: staff would review the revised Behaviour Guidance policy by February 9, 2026. The revised policy included direction to staff on examples where physical contact and physical redirection would be permitted. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

  Observation. Licensing tested the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) sinks and had water readings between 55.0 and 59.1degrees Celsius. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager turned off the hot water during the inspection and stated it would not be turned on until Licensing could return to reassess. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.

  Corrective action. Ensure any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49 degrees Celsius.
