  Observation. - The outdoor play area on the southwest side of the facility is enclosed by two gates: one leading directly into the play space and another along the pathway beside Rupert Street. At the time of inspection, the gates were not closing properly and had to be lifted to latch securely. As a result, the outdoor play area was not fully enclosed, allowing children potential access beyond the designated space. - Broken plastic with sharp edges is present along the pathway. - Two wooden panels on the south fence are loose and not in good repair.

  Observation. This item remains outstanding as the parent was away until recently. The parent is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary document from the family physician.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed a large area rug that has curled up on one edge, creating a tripping hazard between the main play area and the bedroom.
