An amazing place filled with the kindest people. As a youth, joining South Vancouver Neighbourhood House (SVNH) was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I used to be really quiet, but after joining SVNH, I built strong bonds, met so many amazing people, and slowly came out of my shell. It’s honestly so much fun, and all the program leaders are super chill, welcoming, and incredibly sweet to everyone. I personally recommend this place to everyone. Thank you so much, SVNH 💓

Professional heartfelt service you could not find anywhere else at least to my mind. Hard-working faithful and true in everything they do. I cannot thank them enough for what they're doing for them.

Horrible service. No people skills from receptionist. I moved into this neighbourhood one month ago. I did my homework about services. Svnhs was in estimate to be a foundation to get to know the neighbourhood and its internal services. I walked in, faced a plexiglass wall for a receptionist area. The receptionist was behind it breaking down boxes. Asked can she help me. I said yes, and I had to lean down to the little opening at the bottom of the plexiglass opening to be heard. She kept breaking down boxes. Not looking at me. She finally said what it is it you want. I told her to stop doing what she’s doing and talk to me. Asked if there was someone who could orientate me as it’s my 1st day. She said let me see, looked around the reception area, 2 people sitting on chairs. Then she tried to pawn me off onto a website or paper info stuck on walls. I said no. I want to talk to a three dimensional person. She said, let me see, again scanned the lobby, as she’s breaking down boxes. I told her this isn’t service, it’s nothing. As I was leaving, 10 ft away, looking over my shoulder, she was breaking down boxes. My hope. Walk in. Receptionist smiles. ‘Good morning, can I help you?’ I’m new, and I’d like someone to show me around. Ohhhh. Welcome. My name is so and so. I’m Tamara. Tamara, please, have a seat and I’ll get someone for you. Would u like a coffee etc? A new potential, client walked out the door cuz the receptionist doesn’t realize seniors don’t waste our time. Don’t pretend we know nothing. My time is valuable. I’ll never go back. Booooooooooo. I left.
