Observation. In the children's washroom, Licensing Officer observed that there was no covered container available for soiled clothing and no designated diaper changing area.

The certificates, or copies of certificates, of early childhood educators and assistants are prominently displayed in the facility. [CCLR 11(4)]

Observation. Licensing Officer observed that the certificate of an early childhood educator assistant for a staff was not prominently displayed in the facility.

Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

Observation. Licensing Officer observed medication for a child with a life threatening allergy did not have a Request for Administration of Medication form on file.

For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

Observation. Licensing Officer observed an incomplete care plan.

A record for each child containing a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(i)]; A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

The licensee has written, parental consent to release a child to someone other than the parent. [CCLR Sec. 57(3)(b)]

Observation. Licensing Officer observed a child's record in which the parent has listed themselves as the emergency contact.

Observation. LO observed that a child's allergy care plan was overdue for review.

A record for each child containing any illness, allergy or medical disability disclosed to the licensee by the child or his or her parent or medical practitioner is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(e)]

Observation. LO observed that 1 child had an asthma inhaler on site. An asthma care plan was not developed for the child.
