    Observation. LO observed a child-safety gate in place at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main floor. The gate was loosely placed and fell over during the inspection.

    Observation. LO did not observe records on file for one child in care. Licensee stated that she has records, however has not yet put them into the child's file - she will do so and notify LO when this is complete. A follow up inspection will take place.

These areas are no longer clean and in good repair. During today's visit LO observed that posters were hung on the walls. Manager stated that the posters were hung to cover up the holes in the walls and the chipped and worn paint. LO observed that many walls of the facility including the base boards are not easy to clean and in good repair. LO observed that the issue of non-compliance remains outstanding.
