    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. The following was observed outside: -wood chips appear bare in some areas -rope hanging accessible to children The following was observed inside: -hygiene products accessible to children

    Corrective action. Licensee explained more wood chips will be put into the yard soon and the rope and hygiene product will be made inaccessible.

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. Throughout the inside of the facility, there is wear and tear on the walls where paint has chipped away and does not present as a smooth surface which may be difficult to clean and sanitize.

    Corrective action. Licensee explained she has a plan in place to paint and fix all the holes and dents in the walls.
