    A licensee must (a) ensure that each child has healthy food and drink according to the Canada's Food Guide.

    Observation. The program fridge was shared to be broken. Children were observed eating two grain products with no other food groups being available due to the damaged equipment. The LO reviewed this with the staff in depth at the time of the inspection.

    Corrective action. Ensure each child has access to health food and drink according to Canada's Food Guide.

    In respect of a record referred to in this Division, a licensee must (a) keep in a single place at the community care facility the records referred to in sections 56 to 58.

    Observation. Staff records reviewed during the inspection. One staff working in the program at the time of the inspection did not have evidence of a staff file available. The LO reviewed this with the staff at the time of the inspection.

    Corrective action. Ensure staff records are available for all staff working in the program.

    Observation. Three children's files were reviewed and one child in care on the day of the inspection did not have a record of a medical practitioner in place.

    Corrective action. Ensure all children's files are complete including Dr,s name and contact details.
