Observation. Licensing observed and discussed with the Manager what steps were taken when cleaning and sanitizing surfaces in the facility. It appeared that the program staff were not cleaning surfaces prior to sanitizing.

Observation. Licensing observed that the manager has posted the Canada Food Guide policies as part of the facility’s written policies and procedures related to food and drink provided to children. The manager also provided Licensing with documentation outlining the current policies and procedures. As policies and procedures are considered living documents, Licensing requires that these documents be updated to reflect current practice and regulatory expectations.
