Observation. Licensing observed that items outside which had standing water with debris from the trees, spider webs attached to toys as well as rusted toys, which is a concern of possible injury or illness.

Observation. Licensing observed that there was only five months to review which prevented Licensing from reviewing the drills over the year. Licensing reminded the Licensee that the fire drills are conducted monthly and emergency drill is conducted on a different day of the same month from the fire drill.

Observation. Licensing observed too many items inside the facility, at the various stations, preventing children from having space on the tables to freely explore, manipulate, and discover. Licensing also observed outside toys and equipment piled approximately 4 feet high in the middle of the patio, there is a concern of a possible injury to a child.

Licensing observed: - Emergency cards were completed, photocopied, and placed in the emergency bag, but the information on the cards was illegible to read, which is a concern if the information is required in an emergency. - The emergency bag no longer provides items like food and water to assist in an emergency.

Observation. Licensing also observed that 4 step method of washing dishes was not being used. Licensing explained the 4 step method and would provide a reference to the steps.

Observation. Licensing observed there was a lot of clutter in all the areas of the facility. While licensing recognizes the importance of offering a variety of materials, toys and equipment for a child's overall development, there seems to be an excess of clutter that could be considered to be overstimulating, and stressful to a child or a group of children's health. Licensing spoke to both an Educator and the Licensee about reducing the current amount of clutter in the facility and allowing for space and creativity. Licensing also observed on the shelving above the children's cubbies and located in the hallway, which is above 4' feet lack restrictors, as well as items stored above the fridge are not contained or restricted and could fall.

Observation. Licensing observed there were no paper towels/clothes in the bathroom when first arrived. Licensing asked to have the mop and bucket removed and placed in an area away from the children. Licensee refilled single use paper towel holder and removed mop and bucket from the bathroom when he arrived. Closet doors required restrictors to prevent children from entering areas that are not safe for children.
