To promote transparency and to ensure parents are informed regarding the identity of the Manager, the name of the Manager must be displayed in a prominent place in the facility. Submit by January 09, 2026, written confirmation and evidence that the name of the Manager is now displayed.

    Observation. Children’s departure times are not consistently recorded. Accurate attendance records are required for each child, including arrival and departure times. Submit by January 09, 2026, written confirmation that attendance records are now being accurately recorded for each child.

  • C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

    Observation. Two staff files are missing the staff member's immunization status. A person must not be employed until the Manager has obtained the required records. Submit by January 09, 2026, written confirmation that the missing records have been obtained and added to the staff files. The fire drill is not practiced monthly. Implementing monthly fire drills supports the effectiveness of the fire drill system in the event of an emergency. Submit by January 09, 2026, written confirmation and evidence the fire drill is practiced and a record made.

    Observation. The name of the Manager is not displayed in a prominent location at the facility.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

    Observation. The fire extinguisher was missing from the facility. Various hazardous items, including cleaning chemicals and batteries were accessible to children.

    Observation. Parents are not informed of the food and drinks given to their children.

    Observation. Various systems and records have been developed to meet the Child Care Licensing Regulation including, a record to record the practice of the monthly fire drill, the annual emergency plans, minor incidents, medication requirements etc. These records and systems were unfamiliar to the employee and Manager.

    Observation. The consent from a parent to call a medical practitioner or ambulance, and release the child to someone other than the parent, was not signed by several parents. Child attendance records were not accurate. Children were not signed out and back into the care of the facility when they left and returned from their ski lesson.
