• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The fire drill for January 2026, is not documented. Keeping current records provides transparency on when emergency plans are practiced. Submit by February 16, 2026, a plan that entails how the fire drill system will be documented monthly.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensing Officer reviewed staff records and found two staff working with expired criminal record checks. A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility until all the required documentation in Section 19 is obtained. A plan to ensure staff records are complete with required documentation is required by the follow up date noted.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. There was no record of an annual outdoor play space inspection. The Licensing Officer will provide the manager a copy of the Director of Licensing Standard of Practice for Safe Play Space.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. One child's records did not list a medical practitioner name and contact information. If a family does not have a doctor, please inquire where they would normally take their child for medical care and include this in their records.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The outdoor play equipment that has slides and climbing features does not have adequate resilient surfacing; this poses a risk to children should they fall. Also, the equipment must be positioned 6 feet away from the fence and any other equipment.
