  Observation. SUBSTANTIATED: It is alleged the parent was not notified that their child may have been involved in a reportable incident. Based on an interview with the manager, the family was not notified of a potential reportable incident. Submit to Licensing by March 3, 2026, a written plan on how and when parents will be notified of reportable incidents.

  Observation. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires the Licensee to keep current records for each child. Child records were reviewed during the inspection, one child's registration record was missing the name and phone number of a medical practitioner. Confirm records have been reviewed and missing information has been recorded and establish a system to ensure ongoing compliance with the Legislation.

  Observation. It was observed that monthly and annual play space inspections are not being consistently recorded. Licensing Officer will provide resource that will clearly show what needs to be inspected monthly and annually; Director of Licensing Standard of Practice for Safe Play Space.

  Observation. No verifications of qualifications from the BC Registry were found in any staff files. Please ensure all staff have their verifications completed and documented in their files. One staff file was missing their status of immunization. Please ensure this staff person's status of immunization is completed and documented in their file.

  Observation. There were no care plans developed for 2 children with allergies. Please submit to licensing evidence that care plans have been developed for these children. It was observed three times that children were not signed out on the attendance sheets. Please ensure all children are signed in and out every day. One child's file is missing a photo. Please ensure all children's files have an up to date photo.
