  Observation. Licensing observed that all of the fire extinguishers were due for servicing on February 10, 2024.

  Observation. Licensing observed various children to be missing Immunization status on file.

  Observation. Licensing has provided a staff list resource.

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the licensee using a system established and maintained by the director of the early childhood educator registry [CCLR Sec. 19(4)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that the educators ECE certificates have not been verified. Link to verification has been provided with this report.

  Observation. Medication for a child with an asthmatic care plan is expired and therefore medication cannot be administered.

  Information on the food and drink given to children is made available to parents. [CCLR Sec. 48(6)]

  Observation. Snacks and "special meals" are provided to children and no menu/information is made available to parents.

  Observation. Current criminal record checks are missing for four employees; additionally, files were missing recently expired checks.
