  Observation. The groups still appear to be operating as one, the south facing door appears to be the main entrance for all children.

  Observation. There are no certificates posted in the West Classroom. There were staff present without certificates posted. One staff has an expired certificate displayed in the East room.

  Observation. There is a book shelf in the west room above the table where the children were eating. This shelf is slanted in such a way as it appears to be tipping over, it is very full of books. There is a book shelf in the east classroom full of books that appeared to be at risk due to the weight of the books, they were not secured. There are carpets with curling edges creating a tripping hazard.

  Observation. The nap rooms are being used for storage and are not available to children during activity time. There is large bench outside of the west classroom nap room, this bench is restricting access to and from this room.

  Observation. There was an attendance sheet on the ledge in the East classroom with a large number of names, but there was no date on the sheet nor any indication as to what room each child was attending.

  Observation. AT the time the LO arrived, there was on ECE present with an expired certificate and one RA. After a few minutes the other ECE arrived with the family's two daughters, the daughter's went upstairs and the second ECE went into the West classroom. The two multi age programs are operating as one group with no consistent separation between the two.

  Observation. LO observed the group of children(16) plus the Licensees two children off site. The Licensee was present ( ECE), with her two parents initially, then the father returned to the house and there was the Licensee and her mother present with 18 children.

  Observation. Some of the items have been corrected. The cleaning and sanitizing bottles are within reach of the children. When Licensing arrived it was nap / quiet time. The main room was entirely very dark and the nap music was very loud. The stairs at the side of the house that provide access to the North yard are broken. There are gaps in the pallet fencing at the east side of the walk way to the north yard.

This space had one child napping in it at the time of the inspection as the space would not be sufficient for more, there were cots being stored and other items. The remainder of the children were napping in the play space.

The area under the stairs immediately adjacent to the south entrance is accessible to children, hazards are present and the space poses entrapment concerns.
