  Observation. Licensing observed a medical care plan not available for one child.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed staffing documentation and observed it was incomplete for one staff.

  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. No soap/ water spray bottle was available. LO observed staff sanitizing the tables without prior cleaning of the surfaces. It is important to note that a surface cannot be properly sanitized until it has first been thoroughly cleaned. Resources provided/ attached in HH

  A record for each child containing the daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(c)]; A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

  Observation. Upon a review of the attendance records, LO noted that information on the time of departure for several children was missing on multiple days. Additionally, LO observed the following: - the immunization status missing from a child`s records - the emergency cards, stored in the first aid bag, included children who were no longer attending the program.

  Evidence of compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs has not been obtained. [CCLR Sec.19(1)(b)]; Records of staff's work histories have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)(c)]

  Observation. LO noted the immunization status and the record of the staff’s work history were missing for the staff. A staff checklist was included with this inspection report and can be used to ensure files are complete.
