OR SUPERVISION
A licensee must (a) ensure that behavioural guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 3 children over the age of 3 were in highchairs during snack time. Staff said this was due to challenging behaviors and because the children were newer in the program.
Corrective action. The Designated Director said children over the age of 3 will no longer be placed in highchairs.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (k) the date on which the child stops attending the community care facility.
Observation. Upon inspection the date the children stopped attending was not recorded.
Corrective action. The manager said she will have the date documented.

Observation. Upon inspection a criminal record was not obtained for one employee.
Corrective action. The manager said it has been applied for but not yet received.
