  Observation. Fire Extinguisher has not been serviced annually

  Corrective action. Ensure fire extinguishers are serviced annually.

  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

  Observation. Licensing noted there we no records indicating a fire drill was practiced for July or August.

  Corrective action. Ensure current records are kept respecting compliance with section 22(2)(b) and (c).

  Observation. Licensing reviewed 7 children’s records and noted 2 were missing date of enrolment.

  Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child showing the date of the enrolment in the community care facility.

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. 3 tall shelves were observed not secured to the walls with the potential to fall.

  Corrective action. Ensure that the tall shelves are secured to the wall.
