  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Upon inspection, the refrigerator temperature was 7 degrees Celsius and there is food in the fridge that is served to children. The licensee advised she will turn the temperature down and monitor it on an ongoing basis.

    Corrective action. Please ensure the refrigerator temperature is between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius.

    Observation. Upon inspection there was no documentation of the fire drill being done in August 2024 and no record of the evacuation drill being done in the past year. The licensee advised it was done but not written and future drills will be documented.

Upon inspection, Licensing observed an infant in his crib pulling a bag with fabric into his crib.The child was reaching for other equipment also to put in his crib which poses a hazard.The Licensee stated that she will move all the items away from the sleep area so they are inaccessible to the infants.
